How to Configure Email in Outlook

Setting Up Microsoft Outlook

Configure your Pro Gineous email account in Microsoft Outlook (2016/2019/365).

Automatic Setup

1. Open Outlook
2. Go to File → Add Account
3. Enter your full email address
4. Click Connect
5. Enter your password
6. If auto-discover works, setup is complete

Manual Setup (IMAP)

If auto-discover fails, use manual configuration:

1. Select IMAP account type
2. Configure incoming mail:

   Server	mail.yourdomain.com
   Port	993
   Encryption	SSL/TLS

3. Configure outgoing mail:

   Server	mail.yourdomain.com
   Port	465
   Encryption	SSL/TLS

4. Enter your full email as username
5. Click Next and Done

Troubleshooting

• Ensure you're using the full email address as username
• Try port 587 with STARTTLS if port 465 fails
• Disable antivirus email scanning temporarily
